MODA Vi LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”) provides a B2B service platform that helps storefront and service-based businesses operate more efficiently. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, retain, and protect personal information from users (“you”) who engage with our services through our website and application.

1. Information We Collect

Personal & Business Information

  • Full name
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Role at the business (e.g., owner, manager)
  • Business name and address
  • Business type or category
  • Google Maps Place ID and URL
  • Optional data: employee count and annual revenue
  • Whether the business is a primary storefront location

Meeting & Communications Data

  • Meeting times and durations
  • Transcripts or notes from meetings
  • Internal communications between you and our team

Payment Information

  • Payment details (card information, billing email and name) are handled exclusively by Stripe, our third-party payment processor. We do not store or process your payment information on our servers.

Technical & Analytics Data

  • We do not currently collect behavioral or technical tracking data for analytics.
  • Basic technical logs (e.g., server logs, error reports) may be collected by our infrastructure provider (e.g., Vercel) to ensure platform performance and security.

Cookies & Tracking

  • We use cookies and similar technologies (e.g., local storage) to maintain your session, improve performance, and enhance your experience.
  • You can manage or disable cookies via your browser settings; please refer to your browser's help documentation for details.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To set up and manage your business account
  • To communicate with you for onboarding, meetings, and updates
  • To analyze business operations and inform our services
  • To process transactions and manage billing
  • To provide customer support

We do not use your data for marketing purposes.

3. How We Share Your Information

We only share your data when necessary to provide our services or comply with the law:

  • Stripe – for payment processing
  • Supabase – our backend data platform and secure database
  • Internal CRM systems – to manage communications and service records

We do not sell or rent your data to third parties.

4. Data Retention

  • We retain your information indefinitely to support ongoing service and legal obligations.
  • You may request deletion of your account or personal data at any time; see Section 7 for how to contact us.

5. Your Rights

U.S. Residents

  • You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data.
  • For California residents: see the “California Privacy Rights” subsection below.

EU & UK Residents

  • We process personal data under legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing, plus data portability.

Children's Privacy

  • Our services are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

6. California Privacy Rights

Under the CCPA/CPRA, California residents may:

  1. Request disclosure of personal data collected about you.
  2. Request deletion of your personal data.
  3. Opt out of any data “sale” or “sharing” (we do not sell or share data).

7. Data Breach Notification

In the event of a security breach that compromises your personal data, we will notify affected individuals by email within 72 hours where required by law, including details about the breach and remediation steps.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. For material changes, we will email you and update the Effective Date at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Non-material updates are effective immediately upon posting.
